Masterson’s Pub , situated in the center of Moonee Ponds , promotes itself as a chic “hipster” locale , but my most recent experience at this establishment turned into one of the worst experiences of my life . While the bar may look welcoming at first glance , what I discovered behind its walls was shocking and unacceptable on multiple levels .

The floors were sticky , and a nauseating aroma of stale beer and uncleaned toilets permeated the entire pub. Emitting a scent of a mixture of urine , decay and a sickly smell. His presence at the bar often resembled that of a lurking threat than a genial proprietor .
